The Latvian 2011 Eurovision final Eirodziesma 2011 will be kick off tonight at 20.20 CET from the beautiful city of Ventspils . A total of 11 candidates will battle for the golden ticket to Dusseldorf. The show will be aired live on LTV 1 and will be webcast on the official Eurovision website eurovision.tv
The Show
The 2011 Latvian national final will be held tonight in Ventspils. 11 hopefuls will be competing in their quest to represent Latvia at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Dusseldorf. The show will be held in Ventspils and will consist of 2 stages. During the first stage the 11 candidates will all perform, both the jury and viewers will vote for their favourites, the top 3 will qualify for the superfinal. During the second stage the 3 superfinalists will perform again and the expert jury and viewers will be responsible to select the 2011 Latvian representative. During both stages both the jury and the public will have a 50/50 responsibility.
