Tonight Bulgaria will select its representative for the next Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Düsseldorf. 19 entries will compete in the show that will take place in the National Palace of Culture in Sofia.

The show

The Bulgarian national final will broadcast live at 19:30 CET on BNT. 19 acts were picked up by an academy that includes music professions. They will compete for the ticket to Germany. The winner of the show will be selected by a mixture of a jury and public vote. This year’s Romanian hopefuls Hotel FM will be one of the special guests of the show.

Bulgaria debuted in Europe's favourite show in 2005. The country will take part in the second semi-final on 12th May.
