Following her huge success at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018, a probable long-awaited moment for her fans has come! The Cypriot 2018 entrant Eleni Foureira is here to share with us her brand new song Caramela!

Caramela (Caramel) is the Greek version of the 2017-released Israeli song Karamela, sung by the pop singer-songwriter Moshe Perez. The track’s composer is no other than Doron Medalie, who also composed Netta’s 2018 Eurovision winning entry Toy.

This marks the 3rd time for Eleni Foureira to record a song of the famous Israeli composer, after the release of the Greek version of the 2015 Israeli Eurovision entry, Golden boy by Nadav Guedj, under the title Sto theo me paei, as well as the song Come tiki tam, unveiled in 2016.

Last night, Eleni Foureira performed Caramela for the very first time at the MAD Video Music Awards 2018 event, where she was also crowned as the winner of the “Best Female Adult of the Year” category. The performance’s full video will be released in due time, after the event’s first television broadcast.

Eleni made the following Instagram post holding her award, while she dedicates it to all of her fans and supporters, her “angels”, as she usually calls them.
