Tonight, the final stage of the Azerbaijani national final will take place. Five acts will battle for the lucky ticket to the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest. Note that tonight the Azerbaijani representative for Düsseldorf will be chosen, not the song.

The show

The Azerbaijani national final to be held tonight has been preceded by a series of semifinals, which took place between November and December 2010. Those heats lasted for five weekdays each. As a result of them, five acts qualified for the final. Moreover, former Eurovision representatives will perform as guest stars. Safura (Azerbaijan 2010), Sofia Nizharadze (Georgia 2010), Senit (San Marino 2011) and Anna Rossinelli (Switzerland 2011) will all be at the National Theatre Concert Hall, Baku, where the show is being held.
