3JS were internally selected last July by the Dutch broadcaster TROS. During an exciting show five songs battled for the ticket to Düsseldorf. The show was hosted by Yolanthe Sneijder-Cabau. 2008 Dutch representative Hind and René Froger of De Toppers (2009) were amongst the jury that had half the weight upon the decision for this year’s Dutch entry.

3JS performed five songs and Je Vecht Nooit Allen was the winner of this year’s Nationaal Songfestival. 3JS is a Dutch boy band which consists of Jan Dulles, Jaap Kwakman and Jaap de Witte. The band was founded in 2002 and its name is based on the first letter of the band members' names.

The trio will succeed Sieneke who last year failed to advance to the final. 3JS will compete in the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest on 12th May 2011.
