It’s day three of rehearsals in the Eurovision 2018 host city of Lisbon today, in which it’s the start of the semi-final 2 participants’ appearances onstage for the very for time. The international duo of San Marino are next onstage to rehearsal today.

Day three at the Altice Arena in Lisbon and we’re continuing with the first set of rehearsals for the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest. Semi-final 1 is down, so today we move on to the second semi-final participants, joining the first 9 participants of the show for their first rehearsals.

The Maltese-German duo representing San Marino, Jessika and Jenifer Brening, are next to take to the stage today for their first rehearsal. The duo will compete in the second semi-final next Thursday with their entry Who we are.

The robots are back from San Marino’s national selection performance to join the duo onstage for their rehearsals in Lisbon. However there are now a total of 4 robots onstage, more than previously seen. The message behind it? We’re not too sure just yet, but the robots hold up a signs reading sentences such as “I am not your robot” and “Will you marry me, Jessika?”.

First look at San Marino’s first rehearsal for Eurovision 2018

There’s a futuristic feel to San Marino’s stage performance, with robots replacing most of the actual backing performance for the duo onstage. It’s an interesting concept which will draw everyone’s attention on the semi-final night.

San Marino receives applause across the press centre following their rehearsal, potentially for the uniqueness of the performance itself. Don’t rule out San Marino for a place in the final just yet…
