The UK’s newest commentator for 2018, Rylan Clark-Neal, has met and interviewed several of this year’s Eurovision participants.
Rylan took the opportunity of many of this year’s stars being in the UK for the London Eurovision Pre-Party to compile a series of brief interviews with the contestants. Part one, which you can see above, features Alfred and Amaia (Spain), Madame Monsieur (France), Jessica Mauboy (Australia), Rasmussen (Denmark), Mikolas Josef (Czech Republic), Saara Aalto (Finland), Michael Schulte (Germany), Gromee ft. Lukas Meijer (Poland), Ari Ólafsson (Iceland) and Vanja Radovanović (Montenegro). Part two features Benjamin Ingrosso (Sweden), SuRie (United Kingdom), Zibbz (Switzerland) and Equinox (Bulgaria) along with others.
Rylan in Eurovision 2018
Rylan is taking over from Mel Geidroyc as the UK’s semi-final commentator, alongside radio presenter Scott Mills. Rylan now mainly works as a television presenter, but has previously worked as a model and singer. In 2016, he presented the British daytime magazine show This Morning (traditionally presented by a married couple) alongside his husband, Dan Neal, becoming the first gay couple to do so.
