Dora, the Croatian national final for the Eurovision Song Contest, is likely to be held in the country's capital Zagreb next year.

The nineteenth edition of Dora in 2011 looks set to move from its traditional home in Opatija, a small town on the Adriatic Coast. to the capital.

Although the Entertainment department of national broadcaster HRT with their boss Hloverka Novak-Srzic are aware that a move to metropolis could result in Dora losing its charm, it is clear to them that a Zagrebian Dora would be a lot less expensive to hold. The final decision will be taken next week. It will also be made known next week whether rumours that Dora 2011 will be held over a week rather than just two or three days, are true.

Croatia was represented at this year's Eurovision Song Contest by Feminnem singing Lako je sve, which failed to qualify for the final. The last Croatian representative to be chosen in Zagreb, Boris Novkovic with his song Vukovi umiru sami in 2005, placed a respectable eleventh in Kiev.
