Belarusian broadcaster, Belteleradio (BTRC), kicks off their national selection for Eurovision 2018, with the live auditions being held today in Minsk.
There are 93 applications set to take part in the live auditions, which will be held at midday local time today at the 600 meters studio.
The list of performers includes artists that have previously taken part in the national selection – Janet, Gunesh, Uzari and Nikita Alexeev, along with the much talked about Ukrainian singer, Alekseev.

Live auditions for the Belarusian national final will air from 10:00 CET (12:00 local time) and will air via the following:

The bidding Belarusian artists will all perform with backing music or live instruments during today’s auditions, but with no backing vocals, in front of a professional jury; from the 93 acts, no more than 15 will be chosen to take part in the televised national final.
The names of the acts that will move on to the final in March will be revealed later today following the conclusion of the auditions.
BTRC have yet to confirmed when the date of the final will be, but have said it will be before 1 March; then we will know who will follow in the footsteps of Naviband, who made it into the final in the 2017 contest.
