Sem Fazer Planos Do Que Virá Depoi

Last May, Portugal was crowned the winner of the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest when Salvador Sobral walked away with the coveted Grand Prix with his unique and epic performance.

The Portuguese artist won the hearts of millions of viewers across the world with his charismatic voice; the simplicity of his melody and staging stood out amongst all the competitors.

Amar pelos dois, composed by Salvador’s sister Luísa Sobral made history when Portugal brought the Eurovision prize back home for the very first time.

This documentary features exclusive backstage footage that has never been seen before, unreleased musical material by the Sobral siblings and interviews with Salvador, Luísa, Malato, Filomena Cautela and RTP’s Eurovision team which travelled to Kyiv.

The first episode

The first episode takes us on a trip back in time, to the days when the Festival da Cançao was remarkable and captivated the presence of the main names of Portuguese music.

It reveals how the format of the program was re-thought in 2017, how the musicians accepted the challenge of participating and, little by little, a phenomenon was born around Amar pelos dois, a song whose story Luísa Sobral herself presents with a guitar in her hands.
