Anna Vissi at Eurovision

The very first performance of Anna Vissi on the Eurovision stage took place in 1980, when she represented Greece with her backing group Oi Epikouroi (The Assistants). She performed the entry Autostop and came 13th on the final scoreboard.

Two years later, she went on to Eurovision on behalf of her native country Cyprus with the song Mono i agapi (Only love), earning a respectable 5th place with 85 points, which has been the best placing for the country to date.

However, Anna made her next and latest Eurovision performance 24 years later, after having been internally selected by the Greek national broadcaster ERT to represent them on home ground in 2006. She took part in Eurovision with the song Everything, written by Anna herself and her ex-husband and famous composer Nikos Karvelas. She finished 9th with 128 points.

We are all invited to give our support to Anna’s concert next Wednesday!
