Spanish singer Pastora Soler, who represented her country at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, has made her artistic comeback with the release of her new album: La calma.

La calma was released on 15 September 2017 and marks a new musical beginning for Pastora Soler, who took a break from show-business for several years.

The artist struggled with anxiety and stage fright, which caused her to faint on stage during a concert in Sevilla in 2014. Since then, Pastora Soler has regained her artistic and musical strength, expressing her calmness and confidence through her latest album La calma.

The release date of 15 September was not picked randomly, as it is also the birthday of Pastora Soler’s daughter Estrella, who was born in 2015. Motherhood was a comfort and essential focus point during the artists’ break from the music scene, and has contributed to the singers’ confidence.

Pastora Soler shared her happiness on her official Facebook page:

Un día pleno de felicidad! Ante todo y sobre todo porque naciste tú! 2 años de amor,de vida,de luz!!!! 15 de septiembre…

As a cherry on the cake, La calma has already reached the number 1 position on the Spanish iTunes chart.
