Vasiliy Lazarovich has been appointed by the Ukrainian national broadcaster NTU as the country's representative for Eurovision 2010. The decision has been made internally, while the song will be selected at a later date out of the entries received by the broadcaster.
28-year-old Vasiliy Lazarovich is NTU's choice for Eurovision 2010. After two consecutive female representatives, Ani Lorak (2008) and Svetlana Loboda (2009), the Ukrainian broadcaster has decided to send a male artist to the paneuropean competition, which makes the 5th to be announced this year so far.
A call for songs has been launched. The entry that Vasiliy will sing in Oslo will be selected out of all the submissions, and it is yet unknown whether the procedure will be internal like the choice of the artist or public and televised.
