Urban Symphony win Best dressed act award

The votes for the fourth annual esctoday.com awards have been cast over the last three and a half weeks and now it is time to reveal the results. We continue with the Best dressed act award.

The 2009 esctoday.com Award for Best dressed act goes to…

Urban Symphony represented Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest this year and and finished third in the second semi final and sixth in the final with the song Rändajad.

The winners

This is already the fourth esctoday.com award for Estonia this year following victories in the categories Best duo/group performance, Most creative effort and Best arrangement and production. Previously, this award has gone to Kate Ryan (Belgium) in 2006, Sopho (Georgia) in 2007 and Ani Lorak (Ukraine) in 2008. It is therefore the first time that this award does not go to a female soloist but rather to an all-female band.

Urban Symphony win this award ahead of Jade Ewen with Patricia Kaas being very closely behind. Regina, the only male act nominated, finished fourth.

  3. Patricia Kaas (France) – 20.1%
  4. Regina (Bosnia & Herzegovina) – 18.1%
