Last year’s Eurovision winner Jamala may prepare for her performances as interval act to the Eurovision Song Contest, after bringing it on home ground, but  yesterday she had a very happy personal moment, as she got married to her beloved Seit-Bekir Suleymanov.

A very pleasant event

The couple got married in a traditional Nikah ceremony (Islam wedding) at the Islamic Cultural Center of Kyiv. The wedding took place behind closed doors with a few guests and as you can see some of the guests are sitting on the floor.

Jamala announced the pleasant news on her official Facebook account, after her wedding:

Jamala and Bekir made their relationship known just a few months ago, when they performed together in the Manhattan Short Film Festival.

Seit-Bekir Suleymanov has recently graduated from the Department of Physics and Mathematics of Kyiv National University. He is also an activist of the Crimean Tatar community, as Jamala, especially for the youth and plays football.
