Laura from Estonia is wearing one the most beautiful and intricately detailed dresses we have seen so far. The dress is a full-length white gown designed by Kristina Viirpalu, who has also designed Laura’s red carpet dress. The bodice is transparent, with beading detail across Laura’s chest and shoulders. The long skirt is made of layered tassels, like a 1920s flapper dress. It is entirely hand embroidered with thousands of tiny crystals and beads, to look like traditional Estonian designs. An extra detail is the subtle embellishment of the word “Estonia” across Laura’s lower back.
Koit is wearing a light grey suit with a white shirt.

Meet & Greet – Естонія

During it, the man of the Estonian duo Koit made the following statement:
It’s difficult and we know we have things to change we probably change my outfit and we have time to work on it.
Here comes another meltdown. What works on the stage in Tallinn is not guaranteed to work in Kyiv. Koit’s and Laura’s cold faces that work on the dark stage does not work on the big lit stage. A backdrop that has the same faces of Koit and Laura in parts of the song turns into white vertical lines – the song might be from the 1980’s but the backdrop is from Eurovision 2000 with some memories of Goodbye to yesterday (Estonia 2015).
Nothing happens pretty much except for walking around stage and making weird faces to the camera. Laura’s dress is probably also missing a place for the in-ear monitor as it was attached to her arm during the rehearsal.
