RTS, the Serbian national broadcaster has announced today that Tijana Bogićević will represent Serbia at the forthcoming 2017 Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv next May.

RTS has yet again opted for an internal selection in order to determine the Serbian Eurovision act for Kyiv. Tijana Bogićević will defend the Serbian colours at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv. Tijana is no new face when it comes to Eurovision, as she has graced the Eurovision stage in 2011 when she was Nina’s backing vocalist. She currently lives in the USA.

The 2017 Serbian entry has been composed and and produced by Borislav Milanov, Bo Persson, Johan Alkenas and Lisa Ann-Marie Linder. The group of composers and authors have been behind the 2014 Austrian Eurovision entry Rise like a phoenix and 2016 Bulgarian entry If love was a crime.

Serbia debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007 and won the competition the same year with Marija Serifovic‘s Molitva.

The 2017 Eurovision Song Contest, scheduled to be held on 9, 11 and 13 May at the IEC in Kyiv in Ukraine.
