SRF, the Swiss German speaking national broadcaster has confirmed today that Sven Epiney will once again host the Swiss Eurovison national final-Entscheidungsshow, scheduled to be held on Friday 5 February at SRF’s Studio 1 in Zurich. The show will be aired live at 20:00 CET on SRF, RTS, RSI and RTR.
The Swiss broadcaster has also released the running order of the competition. A total of 6 acts, all female, will be battling for the golden ticket to Kyiv. The 2017 Swiss Eurovision entry and act will be determined by a 100% public televoting deliberation.

The 2014 Swiss representative Sebalter has been invited to perform at the 2017 Swiss Eurovision national final. He will be premiering his latest single Weeping Willow during the show.
The 2017 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 9, 11 and 13 May at the IEC in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Switzerland is one of the founder members of the Eurovision Song Contest having hosted the very first contest back in 1956. The country has won the competition twice: in 1956 with Lys Assia and in 1988 with Celine Dion.
