TVE, the Spanish national broadcaster has announced the names of the 10 Eurocasting hopefuls. One of them will go on to battle in the 2017 Eurovision national final scheduled to be held next February.

The voting for the 2017 Objectivo Eurovision‘s Eurocasting ended earlier this week. A total of 392 entries were submitted to TVE for Eurocasting.

Spain Calling! TVE has revealed the top 10 acts from the online voting. Hereafter a special jury will whittle the number to 3 acts. The 3 lucky hopefuls will then showcase their skills live during the Eurocasting audition on 12 January, which will be televised live on rtve.es .

The 2017 Spanish Eurocasting audition is scheduled to be held on 12 January in Madrid, where the 1st candidate for the 2017 Spanish Eurovision national final Objectivo Eurovision will be selected. The rest of the candidates will be selected via an internal selection by the Spanish broadcaster.

The 2017 Spanish Eurovision national final is scheduled to be held next February. TVE will disclose more details regarding its Eurovision 2017 project and national final in due course.

The 2017 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 9, 11 and 13 May at the IEC in Kyiv, Ukraine.
