Eurovision 2016: Semi-final 2 qualifier allocation draw

Semi-final 2 has come to an end and we now have our 26 finalists! Following tonight’s semi-final results, a press conference took place in order to decide which half of the grand final each of tonight’s 10 qualifiers will perform in.

Tonight’s semi-final 2 qualifiers will join the 10 qualifiers from semi-final 1, along with the Big 5 members and the host country, Sweden. A press conference followed tonight’s show in which a random draw took place to decide which half of the grand final each country will perform in.

  • Belgium’s Laura Tesoro will perform in the first half of the grand final.
  • Nika Kocharov & Young Georgian Lolitaz from Georgia will perform in the second half of the grand final.
  • Ukraine and Jamala will perform in the second half of the grand final.
  • Poli Genova, Bulgaria’s representative, will compete in the first half of the grand final.
  • Dami Im from Australia will compete in the first half of the grand final.
  • Lithuania, represented by Donny Montell, will perform in the second half of the grand final.
  • ZAA Sanja Vučić from Serbia will compete in the second half of the grand final.
  • Israel’s Hovi Star was drawn to compete in the first half of the grand final.
  • Poland and Michał Szpak will perform in the first half of the grand final.
  • Justs from Latvia will compete in the second half of the grand final.

It’s now time for the EBU along with SVT to decide the full running order of the 25 finalists which will be decided in the early morning. The draw of the 26th finalist, Sweden, was decided and chosen randomly in advance.
