To popularise the image of Latvia among the participating countries of the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 and attract foreign audiences to the event, three films have been made.
The Latvian broadcaster LTV had ordered three films about Riga and Latvia: The Land That Sings (length 4 minutes and 26 minutes) and Riga – the City of Inspiration (10 minutes).
The director of the films is Askolds Saulitis. The script by Aija Austruma, Viktors Duks, Askolds Saulitis.
Tonight the films will be officially presented to the media representatives, the officials, the organisers and the partners of Eurovision Song Contest 2003.
