Tonight, Georgia will decide over its songs and representative in the upcoming 2009 Eurovision Song Contest. Ten acts will present one song each and the winner will become the third Georgian representative in the competition.

The show

The show will start at 22:00 local time (19:00 CET) and it will be broadcast on Channel 1. Ten acts will present one song each and the winner will be chosen by SMS voting and a jury.

Georgia took part in the Eurovision Song Contest twice so far making it to the final on both occasions. In 2007, Sopho finished 12th with her entry Visionary dream while Diana Gurtskaya reached 11th place last year with Peace will come. In 2009, the country will take part in the first semi final on 12th May.
