Following the tragic passing of musical legend Prince yesterday (Thursday 21st April 2016), Australia’s 2016 Eurovision Song Contest representative Dami Im has paid a special tribute to the late icon with a TV performance of his classic hit Purple Rain.

This is a song with many memories for Dami: she performed Purple Rain during the second week of her participation in The X Factor Australia in 2013, receiving a standing ovation for her rendition.

Dami went on to win The X Factor Australia, which launched her to fame.
