Barcelona has seen the election by the jury of the remaining 10 acts that were left to complete the list of 30 hopefuls to participate at the televised galas of Eurovisión 2009: El Retorno, scheduled to kick off on February 14th. The next step will be their allocation in the three semifinals.

It has been a busy Saturday for the 30 acts that could not manage to qualify directly from the online voting to the next stage of this year's Spanish selection. All of them but Omi Di, who decided not to take part in the auditions, had to show their skills of in front of a jury comprising (for the moment) 4 people. Those are José Luis Uribarri, Mariola Orellana, Toni Garrido and Mauro Canut.

The panelists finally decided to give the ticket to the televised galas to Isi, Salva Ortega, Remembrances, La Red de San Luis, Leather Boys, Beatriz, Gran Baobab, Carlos Ferrer EAI, Dulce and Ángeles Vela. These 10 hopefuls will join the other 20 who were the most voted acts in the online voting: Atalis, Biquini, Calipop, Diqesi, El Secreto de Álex, Electronikboy, Jorge González, Julia Bermejo, La La Love You, Melody y Los Vivancos, Mirela, Noelia Cano, Normativa Vigente, Roel, Santa Fe, Solydo, Soraya, Vicente Casal, Virginia and Yulia Valentayn.

TVE will shortly announce in which of the three semifinals the 30 singers or groups will appear. Each of the programmes will feature 10 acts, and the 3 who get the most of the votes will secure a place in the final. The 4th placed act will go through the second chance round, whose winner will become the finalist number 10.
