The finalists for Malta’s Eurovision Song Contest national selection, MESC, have been selected.
20 acts competed in the semi-final, hoping to secure one of the 14 places in Saturday’s final.
The qualifiers were determined by a combination of jury and public vote. Six jurors each had their vote with the public vote acting as a seventh juror. The finalists were presented in random order.
- Raquel – Flashing lights
- Dominic – Fire burn
- Kim – Lighthouse
- Christabelle – Kingdom
- Deborah C – All around the world
- Franklin – Little love
- Daniel Testa – Under the Sun
- Corazón – Falling glass
- Ira Losco – Chameleon (Invincible)
- Jessika – The flame
- Laurence Gray – You’re beautiful
- Brooke – Golden
- Jasmine Abela – Alive

The 14 acts will perform again in the final, which takes place tonight, on January 23 with the winner representing Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016.
Last year, Amber won the Maltese national final and represented the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015.
Her song Warrior fell just short of making the final after she finished 11th in her semi-final with 43 points.
