Ana Bebic, a semi-finalist at the talent show Operacija trijumf, will perform the song Mrzim spore stvari (I hate slow things) at this year's Dora, the Croatian national pre-selection for the Eurovision Song Contest.

As the song has been written by one of the invited composers, Neno Nincevic, it is placed directly in the final, along with a song by Igor Cukrov, who will be singing a song by Dora veteran Tonci Huljic.

Ana will be completely different from the others: the song is modern, youthful and rebellious. It sounds completely Western”, composer Nincevic told the newspaper Slobodna Dalmacija.

OGAE Song Contest winner Franka Batelic will sing a song by Boris Djurdjevic, Miro Buljan has written a song for the group Viva, Zrinko Tutic will write for Danijela Pintaric, Ante Pecotic for the group Aria, Miroslav Rus for the band “Ruswaj”, whilst Denis Dumancic has decided to compete as a singer and songwriter. It is not yet known who will sing the songs written by Eurovision winning composer Rajko Dujmic or the controversial Miroslav Škoro.

Dora 2009 will take place in Opatija on 27th and 28th February.
