Norway announces Bodo Eurovision hopefuls'

The seven acts participating in the second semi final of the Norwegian preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 have been announced by NRK. So far all of the song titles are known but only fourteen out of the twenty one semi finalists.

The following acts will be competing in the second Melodi Grand Prix semi final to be held in Bodø on 31st January:

  • Alexander Stenerud – Find my girl (Music and lyrics: Alexander Stenerud)
  • Janni Santillan – Like you did(yesterday) (Music and lyrics: Janni Santillan)
  • Julius Winger – Like an angel (Music and lyrics: Julius Winger and Ole Jørgen Olsen)
  • Tone Damli Aaberge – Butterflies (Music: David Eriksen, Lyrics: Tone Damli Aaberge, Mats Lie Skåre, Billy Burnette)
  • Tine Wulff – Ride (Music and lyrics Marte Wulff)
  • Wenche Myhre – Alt har en mening nå (Music: Thomas Thörnholm, Michael Clauss and Danne Attlerud, Lyrics: Jan Vincent Johannessen )
  • Publiners – Te stein (Music: Bertil Bertelsen, Lyrics: Olav Nygaard, Morten Horn and Ronny Bertelsen)

Thanks to Johnny Logan and Hold me now I fell in love with the Eurovision Song Contest, a love that's been going strong ever since with undiminished passion. My first memories date back to 1977 and the lyrics of Rock bottom, Dschinghis Khan and A ba ni bi are still engraved in my brain.

I joined in 2006 as a junior editor after being invited by Barry Viniker, I soon became Senior Editor and during the 2007 contest in Helsinki I was appointed Head of Communications. Today I hold the post of Head of Human Resources and I am proud to be working with the best editorial team in the world.
