Nico, the Romanian pop artist who represented her country last year with a duet performed with Vlad Mirita, comes back with another duet this year. This time, the woman fast becoming known as the queen of duets is joining forces with former national finalist, Moni-k. The news was confirmed to esctoday.com earlier today.
esctoday.com talked with Nico, the female pop artist that represented Romania last year. Nico revealed to esctoday.com that her song is an uptempo pop beat composed by her husband, Laurentiu Matei, andwill be performed as aduet with another female pop artist, Moni-k.
Nico actually never thought of participating again this year in the Romania national selection but when she listened the song she decided to try again but this time with a female voice. Thats how the duet came up with Moni-k.
Nico declared to esctoday.com that she feels great after representing Romania in 2008, that she believes in that song, she believes in Moni-k and herself and that she wants to live this experience again next year.
Romania participated first time in the Eurovision song contest in 1994 with Dan Bitman and last year Nico and Vlad Mirita represented their country with the ballad "pe o margine de lume".
