Norway: All 21 MGP songs announced

NRK, the Norwegian broadcaster has announced the complete list of songs to participate in this year's Melodi Grand Prix, the country's preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest. Eighteen songs were initially scheduled to be selected for the semi finals but the number has increased to twenty one, due to the high quality of the submissions.

Seven songs will be competingin each of the three semi finals of the 2009 Melodi Grand Prix to be held in Kongsvinger on 24th January, Bodø on 31st January and Grenland on 7th February. All the song titles as well as the names of the creators have now been announced but the actual performers will be made known starting next week. According to the daily entertainment program "Spotlight", on TvNorge, Wenche Myhre is going to participate at the Norwegian Music Grand Prix of 2009. The Norwegian final will be held in the Oslo Spectrum on 21st February. This is the complete list of songs participating in the 2009 Melodi Grand Prix:
