Malta: Pamela releases debut album

Pamela, who has already taken part in the Maltese selections for the Eurovision Song Contest various times, is finally going to release her debut album. The CD is called Whispers, which was also the title of her 2008 Malta Song for Europe entry. You can take part in a special competition to win one of five albums!

The album was presented to the public on 25th Novemberat Tat-Tara in Saqqajja Hill Rabat. It contains 13 tracks, some of them were previously released assingles but there are also new songs. One of them is a cover version Pamela recorded with her mother and sister. The other 12 tracks were all composed by Paul Giordimaina with lyrics by Fleur Balzan. One of the songs is called Kliem and was actually released by the composer himself in 2000.

Pamelatook part in the Maltese final in 2005 for the first time and would do so every year after since. In 2008, she competed with Whispers in the semi final but did not make it to the final eight. She is back in 2009 and has already presented the song Live for today in the second semi final as part of the group Q that will also perform the song Before you walk away in the 6th semi final on 20th December. Meanwhile,Pamela has established herself as a popular singer in Malta. Her international appearances include concerts in China,Kazakhstan, Romania and Russia.

Competition
