Dora 2003, Croatian national selection for Eurovision Song Contest, is approaching and therefor the speculations about possible Croatian entrant in Riga are being made in Croatian media.

Nina Badric and Giuliano are being mentioned as hot favourites. “Excellent song happened to me, and new album will be published shortly after Dora. Whatever happens on Dora, it will be good for the album”, Nina told to Jutarnji list and added that she hopes that this year the best song will win and that Dora will pass without any drama. “The results which our representative achieves abroad, say what, how and why we have chosen it. I know that I wouldn't be happy to win Dora and then end badly abroad. I would feel as I didn't acomplish my mission”, Nina said.

HRT confirmed that the hosts of this year's Dora will be Danijela Trbovic-Vlajki and Dusko Curlic, and the stage will be made by Ivica Propadalo. It will look like Roman amphitheatre with 15X6 meter-long linen as its main part. The projections will be shown on it and it will make different atmosphere for each song. Beside the linen, Propadalo will use glass and plexiglass. To remember, Dora 2003 will be organized on March 7th, 8th and 9th as part of The HTV days manifestations in Opatija for which HRT will spend EUR 100,000.
