Sakis Rouvas, the Greek participant of the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest will host all the live shows of the Greek edition of X Factor, the internationally successful talent show. The first live show will go on air tonight, Friday the 24th of September at 20:00 pm CET on ANT1, one of the biggest Greek private broadcasters and it will be also transmitted live every week in Europe and the USA via satellite.
The X Factor is the internationally televised music talent show which has reached a staggering success, a very high viewing figures and the reputation of bringing out star quality talents such as Leona Lewis. The show originates in the United Kingdom, where it is currently running its 5th session. Besides Greece, the show has been being produced in some European countries, in various Arabic countries, in Australia and also Columbia.
In the first edition of the X Factor in Greece, eurofans will recognise one familiar face among the finalists, that of Nikolas Metaxas, who participated in the Cypriot 2008 final with two songs, placing second just 4 points short of Evdokia Kadi who got the ticket to Belgrade.
