Nina has confirmed via her Facebook page that the official video will be released at the beginning of next month (April 2016).
Twenty-four year old Nina Kraljić shot to fame following her triumph on TV talent competition The Voice – Najljepši glas Hrvatske (The Voice of Croatia) in 2015. Following early speculation as reported by ESC Today in February, Nina was internally selected to represent Croatia at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest by the country’s national broadcaster HRT, and Lighthouse was presented on Wednesday 9 March.
Nina will perform Lighthouse in the first half of the first semi-final at the Globen Arena in Stockholm, Sweden, on Tuesday 10 May. Croatia last participated at the Eurovision Song Contest of 2013 (with Klapa s Mora’s Mižerja) and the Balkan country will be hoping that Nina can take them to the Grand Final. Croatia’s best Eurovision placing to date is fourth place (achieved by Maja Blagdan in 1996 and Doris Dragović in 1999) – will 2016 see similar success for Croatia…
