This evening, Slovenia’s entrant for the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest will be selected in the country’s annual national final, Evrovizijska Melodija.

In tonight’s Slovene national final, Evrovizijska Melodija (EMA) 2016, a total of 10 acts will compete for the right to represent Slovenia at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest.

The winner will be decided over 2 rounds; round 1 will see the 10 entrants perform their entries to the 3-member expert jury will rank each of the performances. The top 2 will then qualify to the superfinal round of the national final where the winner will go on to be selected via a public televote.

Tonight’s national final will also feature guest performances from last year’s Slovene representative, Maaraya as well as the country’s last Junior Eurovision entrant, Lina Kuduzović.
