The results are in for the eighth show in the Lithuanian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2016.

The results of show 8 are as follows:

• Erica Jennings – Leading me home
• Rūta Ščiogolevaitė – United
• Ieva Zasimauskaitė – Life (Not that beautiful)
• Ruslanas Kirilkinas – In my world
• Catrinah – Be free
• Valdas Lacko – Stay tonight

That means that Milda Martinkėnaitė and Saulenė Chlevickaitė are now out of the competition.

This was the last of the preliminary rounds of the competition. The next stage is the semi-final on 5 March and then the final, where Lithuania decides who it is sending to Stockholm in May, which is on 12 March.
