The Israeli selection Rising Star for Eurovision 2016 is now reaching its final stages with the grand final to be held on 3 March. The Quarterfinal stage was broadcasted this weekend and out of nine acts, only six have qualified to the Semifinal stage.

The semifinalists are:

1. Chiara Duple
2. Ella Daniel
3. Hovi Star
4. Gil Hadash
5. Nofar Salman
6. Velma

The semifinal stage will be broadcasted during next weekend, on 26 and 27 February. A total of four acts will qualify to the Grand Final that will be held on 3 March, where the four finalists will sing actual national final songs that will be revealed in due course.
