After two heats, in which eight semi-finalists were chosen, Latvia is ready for the semi-final of Supernova 2016, the Latvian selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2016. Tonight, eight acts will take the stage, four of which will proceed to the grand final of Supernova 2016, on 28 February 2016.

Eight acts will compete in tonight’s semi-final, where they will perform their bidding entries for a place in next week’s grand final. Out of tonight’s eight acts, four will qualify to the next stage of the competition. Two acts will be selected via a public televote, whilst the remaining two will be chosen by a jury panel. Supernova 2016 is hosted by Ketija Šēnberga and Toms Grēviņš.
