Tonight, the Bosnian broadcaster BHRT will present the song Deen and Dilal will sing at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016.

The duo were internally selected to represent Bosnia & Herzegovina on the country’s return to the contest back in November. They will be joined in Stockholm by Ana Rucner and Jala.

As announced yesterday, the song they are sending to the Eurovision Song Contest is called Ljubav je.

Not only is this a return to the competition for Bosnia, but it’s also a return for their singer Deen.

Deen represented the country at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2004. In Istanbul, he finished 9th in the final with his song In the disco.

This is Bosnia’s first appearance in the contest since 2012. Despite confirming initial plans to participate, the country has been forced to sit out of the past three years due to financial difficulties in the country.

In their last participation, they finished 18th in the final with Maya Sar’s Korake ti znam.

The show

The presentation show will air live from the Bosnian capital, Sarajevo.
Sarajevo’s city hall will host the event, broadcast by BHRT, and will feature live performances from Nina Badric (Croatia 2012) and Maya Sar (Bosnia & Herzegovina 2012).

Eurovision Song Contest 2007 winner, Marija Serifovic was also due to perform during the event but due to prior commitments will pre-record her performance.
