Five more acts have advanced to the final of Eesti Laul 2016.
Estonia’s national selection process for the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 continued this evening with the second set of acts performing their entries to the Estonian public.
Of the ten songs competing, only five would advance to next weeks grand final.
Amongst the acts competing tonight were bookies favourite Jüri Pootsmann, who has entered with a song written by Stig Rasta.
Also competing was Grete Paia, who finished as runner up to Brigit Õigemeel in 2013.
Go Away Bird, Jüri Pootsmann, I Wear* Experiment, Grete Paia & Meisterjaan were the lucky acts to secure themselves a place in the final.
The result was determined by a combination of public and jury voting.
Next week, the five acts will perform again with the five qualifiers from the first semi-final.
In the final there will be two rounds of voting. The first round of voting will follow the format of the semi-finals, where a jury and public vote will be combined.
From this first round of voting we will have three qualifiers for the super-final.
In the super-final, the three top acts will go head-to-head in a vote decided by the public alone.
