Tonight, voting ends in Israel and in a special show, Israel's decision will be announced. Boaz Mauda, the current Pop Idol winner will represent the country.

The show starts with Boaz singing a brief clip of the 5 songs. Harel Ska'at, a formerPop Idol participant and hotly tipped to represent Israel at the Eurovision Song Contestbefore Teapacks were selectedin 2007then performs. He is followed by a rendition of Diva, the song that Dana International won Eurovision with for Israel in 1998. As she is one of the competiting songwriters this year, she does not perform the song.
