YLE, the Finnish national broadcaster has revealed the hosts and dates for the forthcoming 2016 Finnish Eurovision national selection- UMK 2016.
The 2016 Finnish Eurovision national selection will kick off on Saturday 6 February whilst the UMK 2016 grand final is scheduled to be held on Saturday 27 February.

YLE will reveal the names of the 12 competing acts in UMK 2016 on 12 January. The 2013 Finnish Eurovision representative Krista Siegfrids and Roope Salminen will have the honour of hosting UMK 2016.
Krista won the competition back in 2013 and flew the Finnish flag at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden with Marry me, whist Roope hosted the 2015 UMK. Both Krista and Roope are well known artists at home in Finland and are all set to entertain the Finnish audience during the forthcoming UMK 2016 season.
