After eleven qaurter finals, a second chance round and four semi finals, the Icelandic national final for the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest tonight. The televoters decided to send Eurobandið to Belgrade with the song This is my life, one of the favourites before the contest.

At the end of the show, the top three were announced:

1. Eurobandið– This is my life
2. Mercedes Club – Ho, ho, ho, we say hey, hey, hey
3. Dr. Spock – Hvar ertu nú?
