The Netherlands: Edsilia Rombley’s new theatre tour 2016

Dutch diva of soul Edsilia Rombley, who represented her country twice at the Eurovision Song Contest, will start a new theatre tour in March 2016.

In Edsilia Rombley – In Concert, the artist will sing covers of her most beloved soul songs, interpreting them in her own unique way. Edsilia Rombley will also tell stories from her own life to accompany the songs, enriching the performance with her humor and honesty. From up-tempo to ballads, Edsilia Rombley will bring the songs to life.

The theatre tour Edsilia Rombley – In Concert will start in venue Cultura, Ede on March 2nd 2016, and will end in venue Schouwburg Amphion, Doetinchem, May 7th 2016. For the complete tour-schedule, check the following links here and here.

Edsilia Francisca Rombley (Amsterdam, 1978) represented The Netherlands twice at the Eurovision Song Contest: in 1998 in Birmingham with the song Hemel & Aarde, achieving a respectable 4th place, and in 2007 in Helsinki with the song On Top Of The World, which landed on a 21st place in the semi-final. Edsilia Rombley is married to composer and producer Tjeerd Oosterhuis, the brother of artist Trijntje Oosterhuis, who represented The Netherlands at Eurovision 2015 in Vienna. Together with Trijntje Oosterhuis, Glennis Grace (Eurovision 2005), Berget Lewis (Dutch preselection for Eurovision 2003) and saxophonist Candy Dulfer, Edsilia Rombley forms the supergroup Ladies Of Soul.
