Tonight, another country will kick off its televised selection for the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest: Romania. The first semi final of the 2008 Selectia nationala will be aired with 12 songs competing.

The show

The sill be held at 19:10 CET hosted by Daniela Nane and Iulian Vrabete. Twelve songs will be presented and hte top six will be chosen to move forward to the grand final on 23rd February.

In 2007, Romania was represented by the group Todomondo that finished 13th in the final. In 2008, the Romanian representative will take part in the first semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest.
