The Netherlands: Trijntje Oosterhuis does a Bevrijdingsdag-tour

Prior to her departure to Vienna for her participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015, Dutch representative Trijntje Oosterhuis will go on a mini-tour through her country during the Bevrijdingsdag-celebrations, tomorrow, the 5th of May.

Bevrijdingsdag (translated: Liberation Day) is the national Dutch feast-day on the 5th of May, commemorating the liberation from German occupation during World War II, and the liberation of the former Dutch East Indies (today Indonesia). The day also focusses on the value of freedom, democracy and human rights, and is traditionally celebrated with many musical festivals and manifestations in the whole country.

To show how much she appreciates to represent her country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna, Trijntje Oosterhuis will visit several cities during a mini-tour on Bevrijdingsdag, performing her Eurovision-entry Walk Along. The tour-schedule is as follows (CET):

15.15-15.20: performance Bevrijdingsfestival, Utrecht

17.00-17.05: performance Bevrijdingsfestival, Haarlem

20.55-21.00: performance Bevrijdingsfestival, Almere

22.25-22.30: performance Bevrijdingsfestival, Zwolle

Walk Along is written and produced by Anouk (Eurovision 2013). Trijntje Oosterhuis will perform Walk Along during the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna, on Tuesday the 19 of May, from position four.
