FYR Macedonia: The 21 participants and songs

The participants and songs that will compete to represent FYR Macedonia at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest have been confirmed tonight. As previously reported, 21 acts will battle to represent their country. 15 were selected from 130 songs submitted to MKTV, 6 were commissioned for the show.

The 21 acts, songs and composers battling to represent FYR Macedonia are:

Eight of the acts in the competition are returning to the national selection process. They are Lambe Alabakovski, Risto Samard�iev, Tamara, Adrian Gaxha, Maja Vukićević, D�oksi, Sanja Lefkova and Filip Jordanovski.

Darko Dimitrov composed the 2006 entry, Nikola Perevski and Vladimir Krstevski – 2002, Grigor Koprov – 1998 and Karolina's 2007 entry, Mojot svet. Jovan Jovanov wrote the country's 2004 entry. Vrčak wrote the lyrics in 2006 and Vladimir Dojčinovski the arrangements in 2007.

In what is described as a strong line-up, fans will be looking out for Tuna, winner of the M2 (Idols) talent show and Maja Vukićević who Eurovision fans will remember from the 2000 national final when she performed her song with her pet dog on stage. Also Bojan will raise some eyebrows. The popular transvestite is famous as a chat show host.
