The Slovenian duo Maraaya, composed of singer Marjetka and producer Raay, won the golden ticket to the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna after winning the EMA/Evrovizija final in February. Their entry Here for you has quickly become a domestic favourite, hitting #1 on Slovenia’s iTunes chart.

The bookmakers are tipping Maraaya to do well at Eurovision.

It has been confirmed by Slovenia’s national broadcaster RTVSLO that Marjetka will be wearing a white dress in Vienna, but the style of the dress is still to be decided. Marjetka wore a white dress on the night of the EMA final and wears a white dress in the song’s official video – will white continue to be a lucky colour for the band? Maraaya will also be participating at a concert in Amsterdam later this month.

Maraaya has been drawn in sixteenth position in semi-final two from where they will look to qualify to the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2015.  This year’s Eurovision Song Contest, which comes from Vienna’s Wiener Stadthalle, falls on the 19, 21 and 23 May.
