Petra Frey, who represented Austria at the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest, has revealed that she will release a new single and album later this year.
For the past few months, Petra Frey has been on a musical break during which she has been working on her 2014 album. Along with a new album being released, Petra has also revealed she will be releasing a single from her upcoming album in the coming weeks, entitled Meilenweit (Miles wide). Meilenweit, the single, will reflect on Petra’s life over the past few months. Both the single and album are set to be released in due course.
Back in 1994, Petra was selected to represent her country Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest. With her song Für den frieden der welt, Petra ended in 17th place with a total of 19 points.
