RAI,the Italian national broadcaster has announced the dates of the 63rd San Remo Song Festival. The last 2 Italian Eurovision representatives came out from the San Remo Song Festival. It is yet unknown if RAI will use this famous song contest to select the 2013 Italian Eurovision representative or will opt for an internal selection.
The 2013 San Remo Song Festival will be running for a total of 5 nights, from February 12- 16 and will be held at the Ariston Theatre in San Remo, Italy. The grand finale is scheduled to be held on Saturday February 16.
The 2011 Italian representative Raphael Gualazzi is back in San Remo for the 2nd time, this time he will be competing in the BIG category( well known singers category).
