Eric Saade and the Swedish delegation have got the go ahead by German broadcaster to use the glass cage during their performance at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Dusseldorf. As you all know during the staging of Popular at the the Melodifestivalen final, Eric stood in the middle of a glass cage, where he was surrounded by 4 glass walls, which burst one by one.

Sweden is all set to treat the European audiences to an extraordiary and dazzling performance when Eric takes the Eurovision stage next May in Dusseldorf. The Swedish delegation will be travelling to Dusseldorf withthe glass cage and have been given the green lightby the German broadcasterto use their special effects and glass cage during Eric's performance. As you all will remember from the Melodifestivalen final,the glass cage explodes during Eric's performance.

Sweden will compete in Semifinal 2 on the 12th of May in Dusseldorf. Sweden debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1958 and has won the contest 4 times (1974, 1984, 1991 and 1999). Will Eric give Sweden its 5th Eurovision victory? We will know the answer in May.
